Annual Pebble Beach Community Services District (PBCSD) Open House
On July 20th CAWD was invited to the Annual Pebble Beach Community Services District (PBCSD) Open House held at the District Corporation yard. This was a good opportunity to showcase what we do at CAWD i.e., Collections, public outreach, Treatment and Reclamation. Staff had flyers on Sewer Lateral maintenance, FOG (Fats ,Oils and Grease) and the harm that wipes cause in the wastewater industry. Free grease scrapers were passed out to encourage customers to scrape the grease from pans into the garbage or a waste can or jar and dispose of it properly. CAWD’s display table was well received and we look forward to contributing at the next PBCSD open house.
