Mission St. Sewer Pipe Replacement (by Carmel Plaza)

Construction of this sewer line replacement is scheduled to occur April 13th, 2026 to April 17th, 2026 (8 AM to 5 PM).

Full street resurfacing will be scheduled sometime in May (date TBD) and will require the entire road be closed for one day.

Overview

The project consists of the replacement of the sewer main in front of Carmel Plaza to address major defects in the existing sewer that is about 75 years old. The  project is part of District wide sewer infrastructure upgrade efforts to replace aging infrastructure and provide better reliability for residents, busineses, and visitors.
