In 2018 CAWD completed a $15M rehabilitation project at the Carmel Wastewater Treatment Plant to renew existing infrastructure that was originally installed in the 1970’s and 1980’s. The upgrades included a new Electrical Switchgear, new Digester, new Disinfection System, new Aeration equipment, Dewatering equipment, and numerous electrical and water system upgrades. The project was completed successfully and on budget.
