Phase 2 WWTP Rehabilitation Project - Elec/Mech Rehab and Sludge Holding Tank

In 2023 CAWD completed an $8M rehabilitation project at the Carmel Wastewater Treatment Plant to renew existing infrastructure that was originally installed in the 1970’s and 1980’s. The upgrades included new motor control centers, influent pumps, headworks equipment, disinfection analyzers, a new sludge holding tank, along with demolition of three old sludge tanks. The project was completed successfully and on budget.
